How to Make Your Cutting Board Last 100 Years

Proper care is key to keeping a cutting board around for decades. When you notice your board looking dry, apply a thin layer of Cutting Board Oil or Cutting Board Wax to renew its beauty and enrich the wood. This will prevent rotting and cracking while highlighting the natural wood colors.

Easy Instructions for Cutting Board Upkeep:

1. Hand wash cutting board with light soap and let it dry. Sand down any rough parts with steel wool or sand paper if available.

2. Apply thin lay of Cutting Board Oil to all surfaces.

3. Allow 12 to 24 hours to dry.

4. Wipe away excess oil (if there is any).

Done! Cutting board should look semi-glossy and feel smooth. It is now ready to use!
